I’m still sort of missing in action. Enjoy this in the meanwhile
I didn’t enjoy KLK like many people, however this OST is pure gold. Depending on the budget, I may or may not purchase it. College life, screwing your wallet since… ever?
Heyo, impressions are coming late as ever. I haven’t forgotten about them! I’m still watching the latest episodes, it’s just hard to get time to write something about them due to college.
Outbreak Company 08 was pure win, lots of metal gear solid references!
Kyoukai No Kanata was about to blow my mind, this is the part where you wish it was longer than 24 minutes.
Log Horizon 07 is out and while the pace is killing a few watchers due to wanting to know what is Shiro’s plan. I’ve been pretty neutral about it, I don’t expect my mind to be blown. And I certainly don’t feel like they have to rush it either. I do however criticize the show for taking six long episodes to get to this part. If you removed all the minutes wasted of seeing Shiro thinking, seeing 10 minutes of a battle that is spent talking about skills in the game.
Yes, I know that part of those episodes were in fact, to motivate the protagonist to do something about the issues that are currently affecting the MMORPG.
Adorable pair 2013, love watching Marie clinging to him 😀
Hang in there T_T, Marie! At least they brought you a sandwich.
Can Serara get any more kawaii than this? I can’t even begin to imagine. She’s just too damn adorable and it’s hard to hate on Serara.
Around 4 scenes were made by Shiro adjusting his glasses. It actually bothered me a bit… it’s kind of annoying….
Yes! More Akatsuki moments, best part? Shiro “sold” her up and that “secret” mission was probably to head where she was. Trapped like a rat 😀
As for the whole episode, It was okay. They just begun to move forward, so hopefully the next two episodes is going to be about how Shiro is now official gangster in the new world.
No, no. The series hasn’t been dropped in Japan. I’m just gonna stop talking about it because so far Kill la Kill doesn’t really…. interest me. I’ve lost all interest in it as a series.
It’s a fact that KlK had awesome fighting scenes, mindless fun,
lack of fanservice. However the story itself and what it’s trying to convey to us seems really lacking. I did like today’s episode of it (Episode 7). However, as a watcher of the previous episodes my face expression was mostly “meh….”.
I’m just not… that into it anymore. I’ll keep watching it, I just won’t bother doing impressions anymore since it doesn’t inspire me to talk about it.
Alright! Time to talk and predict the next KnK episode. Let’s start with Episode 6
IT WAS AWESOME. IDOLS, LOLIS, YOUMOS DANCING. STICKY LIQUIDS!
Now that’s that out of the way. Let’s talk about Episode 7, which is actually plot related and has a lot to offer besides just dialogue. Today’s episode was bloodylicious (lame pun intended) and it brings a lot of questions–not about what happened at the end. Sakura joins the cast of
idols warriors and sexy teacher to deal with the main heroine. I’m going to make a little note here that I’m still a bit disgusted of this type of storytelling. Mirai is one of the heroines in this series, being a heroine means that she won’t simply die because of that fact. If Mirai had died it would blow everyone’s mind.
Sakura isn’t a strong willed character. Why? Her behavior does not show any type of determination to get Mirai. She wanted revenge, but her revenge wasn’t strong enough to go after her. Then she was talked into it by that idiot with glasses, but that doesn’t really change her behavior or determination.
If she wanted to kill Mirai, she would have done so after Mirai killed the Hollow Shadow, which by the way, anyone with a heavy grudge would have taken the opportunity.
In the flashbacks, Sakura was still shown as a weak character. Not weak as one that couldn’t defend herself. But weak as one that could develop that type of determination. Did she really blame Mirai at all for what she did? It was a possession I think that any warrior or normal people evaluating the case would had to get rid of the hollow shadow, the host was probably dead, which by the way just thinking about something possessing you, rendering you powerless and killing you is itself damn scary.
That’s all I wanted to say about Sakura for now. Now let’s go back to our “somehow chronological events”.
Hiromi for best brother of the year wanting her sister to succeed in the world of idols.
Have anyone even questioned how did Mitsuki had all that material. I think that if Mirai had a bonsai hobby, Mitsuki might be a fujoshi herself. I mean, her brother is a pervert after all, it might run in the family.
I like how Sakura is trying to assess what’s going on. “Did he do weird things to me?” while keeping that stern look on her face.
I APPROVE OF SUCH RELATIONSHIP. Could we even blame him if he did?!
IT WAS DELICIOUS. The things I would love to see Akkey say, “he said it was delicious”
I wanted to know how did it all fit within the timeline. I’m going to assume that she was crying because of what happened. Sakura had the guts to bring her a damned sandwich?
Hmm…Now what is The Calm? Did Sin from Final Fantasy X happened to jump into Kyoukai No Kanata storyline? That would be awesome.
It gave me chills when I read that. Now things are about to get more interesting. I predict that Akkey, being a half-human and half-youmo has a big part to play as a mediator. If I’m not mistaken, Izumi mentions a God. That God has to be some type of youmo, right? Akkey has advantages. I think we are finally going to see what his role in the story, besides being a powerless person, is in a few episodes.
Finally, gonna take advantage of this free time I have. Gingitsune 06 is up! Today’s episode was pretty tame, well, most of Gingitsune is tame since the audience are probably children. Nothing wrong with that, anyway, Satoru is in a pinch, kind of.
In this episode we see Satoru trying to open up to people. I think his situation resembles a lot to those have been hurt by people. We put up walls so we don’t get hurt, even I have certain walls right now, Satoru uses it as a mean to avoid annoyances. Too bad it doesn’t always work that way, there are people out there that want to know us better. Sometimes we mistake that sign as something bad, because we’ve put up the wall for so long it’s hard to know if they are making an honest attempt to know us or if they are planning to mess with us.
100% guaranteed this is the face an introvert makes when people come unannounced. As an introvert myself the idea of people coming over without me being mentally prepared is recipe for disaster. Satoru, hang in there!
Oh crap, he’s gonna snap!
Exactly my point! But we don’t mean it like that.
You sure are a bad liar Haru. There’s a bit of a plothole in here though. How come a herald, who has lived more years than a human acts like a child. I thought by now Haru would have more sense on how to intervene with issues…
Overall, it was a nice episode. Nothing grandeur or overly flashy.
Updated my About page in the blog. It should give anyone an idea about this blog. I don’t expect this thing to become popular or anything either. It’d be nice to have a conversation from time to time though 🙂
